Pop Shoes bring 6,300 pairs of shoes to new Creston store

New to Creston, new to the shoe business, and new to Western Canada — Randy and Marci Halliday have opened up a brand new 2,000 square foot Pop Shoes franchise in downtown Creston.

The Halliday's recently moved to Creston from Alonsa, Manitoba where they had operated a small hotel.

"We found this franchise opportunity on the internet and decided Creston was an ideal place for us to open a new retail shoe store in." said Marci Halliday. "Creston hasn't had its own shoe store in over 20 years and people have been so excited about our new store which opened on April 6th."

Pop Shoes is based in Deschaillons, Quebec and this is their first franchise store in western Canada. They have over 85 franchise in eastern Canada and operate under a number of different store names.

"In addition to having over 6,000 pairs of shoes on display, we also feature everything from fashion purses to running shoes and sandals to women's fashion shoes and work boots," added Randy Halliday. "The reaction to our new store has been overwhelmingly positive, people just love the great selection we have. One of most popular items so far has being our great lineup of women''s fashion purses."
