Panorama Mountain Village and its board of directors are extremely pleased to announce today that Steve Paccagnan will join the resort effective November 4, 2013 as the new president and CEO reporting to the board of directors.

As president and CEO of Panorama Mountain Village since the property was acquired in early 2010, Rick Jensen significantly improved the guest experience and built an enviable employee culture in addition to initiating a number of large-scale projects for future development. Paccagnan will continue that momentum and bring the resort to the next level.

Paccagnan has over 25 years of experience at numerous mountain resorts, both here in North America and internationally. He holds a diploma in Resort Operations and Ski Area Management, an Advanced Graduate diploma in Business Strategy and a Master of Business Administration. Most recently he was the president & CEO of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, BC, and previously was with Intrawest Resorts as the vice-president and general manager of Copper Mountain in Colorado, Mont Ste-Marie in Quebec and director of lodging at Panorama Mountain Village in BC.

When asked about taking on this new role Paccagnan had this to say: "I’m excited to be joining this dynamic team, Panorama is an established and iconic Canadian resort in an amazing lake/mountain community with tremendous new potential. Panorama is also where I was fortunate to have started my career and passion for the resort business in the world-class mountains of Invermere, BC, this is an opportunity to come back and work with amazing people who share the same passion for Panorama's future."
