New public relations and marketing company unleashed
The company offers a complete PR and marketing strategy that supports and accelerates the growth of local companies.
Two local women with deep roots in the community have combined their skills, experience, passions and entrepreneurial spirits to launch a Cranbrook-based public relations firm.
Brook PR, founded and owned by Danielle Cardozo and Jody Jacob, offers a complete PR and marketing strategy that supports and accelerates the growth, profitability and reputation of local companies through a broad range of services covering media and community relations, events and promotions, branding, business and product launches, content creation and social media.
“We established Brook PR because we are passionate about helping businesses and organizations increase their profile while protecting and enhancing their reputation,” says Cardozo. “For us, this is really a strength realized, an ambition come to fruition, and a dream – make that two dreams -- come true.”
“Media, marketing and advertising is time-consuming, confusing for some, and always changing,” adds Jacob. “Danielle and I understand it and know how to use it to our advantage to ensure our client’s story and brand emerges at the top of the game.”
Cardozo’s extensive experience in business, marketing and sales has earned her a reputation as an innovative and creative individual who organizes and executes highly-successful events and promotional campaigns. She is known in the marketing community for both her ambitious approach and meticulous follow-through.
“The strength of Brook PR lies in not only having a solid PR marketing strategy but also being able to take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves,” says Cardozo.
Jacob is a media relations specialist with the unique ability to tell a good story. More than a decade of experience as a photographer, writer, and communications expert enables Jacob to emotionally engage audiences while remaining on target and on brand. For longer than six years she worked as a communications coordinator for UBC’s Okanagan campus in Kelowna. Her freelance writing has appeared in publications across the country.
“We look forward to working with local business owners to ensure their message gets delivered in a way that brings value and offers clarity,” says Jacob.
Brook PR offers a non-profit rate to charitable organizations. They understand that when your focus is on helping people with urgent basic necessities like food, shelter and health care, a press release and strong social media presence are the last things on your mind.
