New “Metro-Look” Subway opens in Cranbrook

The Cranbrook Subway restaurant franchise, owned and operated by Dan Patel, has moved down the street to a new and larger location. With construction work now complete at the new location, the new Subway offers an ultra-modern style called the fresh-metro look.

The expanded restaurant is now double in size compared to the existing Cranbrook Street location—going from 1300 square feet to 2650 square feet. The number of seats will also double from 23 to 45. The inviting interior includes a beautiful stone fireplace and leather chairs and there is now a spacious outdoor patio.

The new location is still on Cranbrook's busy main thoroughfare located at 1000A Cranbrook Street and will offer a number dining benefits for Subway patrons—quicker service, spacious seating area, comfortable modern decor and patio dining. 

"Our new location is a modern and more spacious restaurant, and with a lot more seating," said Dan Patel, Subway franchise owner. "Plus we have more parking and it will be easier for people to access the restaurant at our new location. We are really excited about expanding to a new, bigger location with new fresh-metro look. We will be able to serve our customers faster and more efficiently."

Subway's second location on 10th Avenue in Cranbrook will continue to operate, servng the busy downtown lunch crowd. Subway is the world's largest quick-service restaurant chain with over 42,295 locations.
