New liquor store for Grand Forks

New Grand Forks liquor store building under construction

New free-standing liquor store to open fall 2013 in Grand Forks.

Construction has been underway on a new free-standing liquor store in downtown Grand Forks across from the Bi-Low Food store.

The new outlet will face busy Highway #3 and is located on the former site of the Winnipeg Hotel.

The venture is funded by a group of local Grand Forks investors and it is reported that the store will be a full-line liquor store with a specialty in B.C. wines.

Construction has been progressing over the summer and the projected completion/opening date is fall 2013. The project manager and builder is New Spaces Construction of Grand Forks.
