Ryan Haynes, general manager, of the Fairmont and Radium Mountainside Markets is excited about his latest venture, a new liquor store for Invermere and the Columbia Valley.

The new privately-owned Invermere Liquor Store has broken ground and construction is underway. It will be located in front of Canadian Tire on Invermere`s main Athalmer Road and just off of busy Highway 95.

"The Invermere Liquor Store is going to be a full service liquor outlet," says Haynes, "with all your favorite beer, wines, and spirits while also offering the valley's widest selection of BC wines and local craft beers."

Here are some highlights of this new business:

  • A total of 3000 sq ft with great variety of product.
  • A 500 sq ft retail cold room.
  • There will be advertised weekly specials offing great value throughout the store.
  • Staff will be knowledgeable and well trained enabling them to offer assistance in making selections as required.
  • Convenient with good parking and easy access.

Look for the new Invermere Liquor Store to open in early to mid 2016.
