Nelson’s Pacific Insight Electronics makes B.C.’s Top 100 Tech Companies list

Business in Vancouver (BIV) recently published their 2012 edition of the B.C. Tech magazine, which listed B.C.'s Top 100 High Tech Companies.

The only Kootenay-based company to make this year's list was Nelson-based Pacific Insight Electronics, which had revenues of $32.8 million last year, up from $29 million the previous year. The company employs 200 people and is certainly one of Nelson's and the West Kootenay's largest employers.

Pacific Insight Electronic was #42 on the Top 100 High Tech Companies list.

The company is listed on the TSX and is lead by CEO Stuart Ross and chairman, J. Cowan McKinney.

2012 marks the 25th Anniversary of Pacific Insight Electronics, the company was founded in 1987.
