Mitsubishi building in Cranbrook bc

The long shuttered Mitsubishi dealership building on Victoria Avenue has been sold. Sources tell Kootenay Business that an automobile dealership group from Alberta has purchased the vacant building and will re-open it as another Mitsubishi auto dealership.

Adam Stenersen and Jeannie Argatoff, of Remax Blue Sky Realty, were the listing real estate agents for the commercial building. The original Mountain Mitsubishi dealership operated for less than two years before closing, and the building has sat empty for a number of years. Neighbouring Spring Honda had used the space to store and display their inventory of new Honda vehicles.

Mitsubishi Canada's stated company philosophy is...."Our mission isn't simply to create great vehicles, it's to create great driving experiences. This has been our guiding principle since 1917, the year we reinvented Japan’s automotive industry with its first series production automobile. It’s with this rich history of global innovation and engineering that we celebrate our 10-year anniversary in Canada. And though we are one of the youngest car companies in the country, we’ve experienced continued growth and acclaim in the last decade. We now have over 80 dealerships and more than 157,000 satisfied customers across the nation."
