At the junction of Highways #3 and Highway 22 sits the brand new City Furniture building in Castlegar.

The massive new furniture outlet has a 16,000-square-foot showroom, with an additional 6,000 square feet on the mezzanine and another 16,000 square feet in the basement that will be used to store furniture.

The Castlegar store is the 22nd store in the City Furniture chain. In addition to a complete lineup of name brand furniture the new location also carries high-end appliances and electronics as well.

Starting with their first store in Dawson Creek back in 1976, City Furniture has positioned themselves nicely in the marketplace by taking up business in small towns throughout B.C. and Alberta.

Situated at the crossroads of the Kootenays in Castlegar, City Furniture is set to serve the entire West Kootenay region.
