Jennie’s Book Garden closes its doors for the final time on December 24, 2012.

After 25 years of sharing her love of books and reading, Jennie Ash will close the doors of Jennie’s Book Garden for the final time on December 24, 2012.

When not reading or gardening Jennie has spent long hours crafting a fine selection of books for us—a selection that is as diverse and fine as our community. Jennie’s Book Garden has held a place amongst the best independent bookstores in Canada.

After this year Jennie will be spending her time in her garden where she will be crafting another selection—sadly it will not be books.

Customers can continue shopping at the bookstore during November and December.
