Wade Jarvis and Ervyn Turcon, owners and operators of the Kootenay's newest distillery, Bohemian Spirits, are making the rounds to various farmers market in the Kootenays. The free samples of their Vagabond Vodka are drawing crowds and rave reviews everywhere they go.  Bohemian Spirits is based in Marysville (south Kimberley) where the small, hand-crafted distillery is located. The couple plans to develop a storefront presence in the future.

Here's how they describe their new enterprise...."Bohemian Spirits is hand-crafted, hand corked and hands-down the happiest bits from around the Rocky Mountains in a bottle.  We're a fresh little distillery conveniently situated near the middle of nowhere, amidst the mountains in Canada's highest city.  Around here, the air is pure, the botanicals precocious, the people good and the drinks neat. Good cheer starts here."

This is how the couple describes their Vagabond Vodka...."Vagabond Vodka is a comfortable, confident spirit.  Crafted with locally-sourced wheat and water, this velvety vodka puts its best foot forward with a smooth flavour and feel."

Watch for Bohemian Spirits at farmers markets this summer in Kimberley, Cranbrook, Fernie, Invermere, Nelson and others.
