The south side of Kimberley is Marysville to most people and it is home to one of the most popular and progressive automobile dealerships in the region. Chalet GM is owned by dealer principal, Jim Fugina and has been serving the Kootenay region for over 31 years

As a perennial Best of Business winner, Chalet GM attributes year-in and year-out success to their focus on excellent customer service and extensive product knowledge.

This year is a particularly exciting one for the company as they embark on a massive renovation and expansion of the dealership.

“GM has mandated certain design alterations in its dealerships, and the focus will be even more oriented to customer service. Customers across Canada will be seeing a new look at GM dealerships in their communities,” said Jim Fugina.

Chalet is adding 8,500 square feet to its existing dealership complete with a drive-thru service bay. It will be one of B.C.’s first dealerships to adopt the new North American image requirement from GM.

So it's "pardon our dust" at Chalet Chev these days, however all aspects continue to function—sales, service and parts—during the renovations.
