After a number of years of struggling to get a farmers market going in Kimberley, Howard Street is proving to be an ideal spot for the new Kimberley Farmers Market sponsored and organized by Wildsight. The most recent Thursday night market featured live music, nearly 30 vendors and lots of market-goers.

The manager of the new market is Erna Jensen-Shill, (pictured above) who is also the manager of the successful Saturday morning, and some evenings, Cranbrook Farmers Market.

"We are very pleased with the turn out for just our second market," said Erna Jensen-Shill, manager of the new market. "I think we have won over the confidence of the vendors that this is going
to be a successful market. The public, residents and visitors alike, have really responded positively to the new Kimberley Farmers Market."

The market features local produce, food kiosks, locally-made artisan items and as mentioned live music. The Kimberley Farmers Market runs every Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
