Kimberley Chamber of Commerce welcomes new board of directors

Recently the chamber membership met at the Kimberley Conference & Athlete Training Centre for the annual general meeting, and elected a new board of directors for 2013.

Newly elected board members are: Bev Campbell, Empowered Employees Initiative; Simone Desautels, Creekside Physiotherapy; Chantal Hack, Burrito Grill; Tylene Turner, Green Door Catering; and Alison Walker, DW3 Rentals.

Returning members for 2013 are Greg Bradley, TekPro Information Solutions; Darren Close, East Kootenay Realty; Tamara Duggan, Kootenay Automotive Equipment; Schaun Goodeve, Green Dimensions Consulting; Janet "JJ" Johanson, Bear's Eatery; Liana Shaw, Investors Group Financial Services Inc.; Grant Sharam, Kimberley Conference and Athlete Training Centre; and Virginia Watson, Trickle Ridge Resort Property Maintenance.

Darren Close continues as president of the chamber and it is anticipated that the chamber will soon be announcing a new location for their office.

The Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce board of directors look forward to new and exciting opportunities for local business in 2013!
