Kicking Horse service comes to a close

On July 27, 2012, the Kicking Horse Country transit service will come to an end.

The Health Connections service between Golden and Cranbrook will continue. The bus leaves Golden at 8 a.m. with stops in Cranbrook at the Tamarack Mall, East Kootenay Regional Hospital and other medical facilities at 11:15 a.m. The return trip leaves Cranbrook at 3:30 p.m. and arrives in Golden at 6:30 p.m. The Health Connections service gives priority to people with medical appointments but is open to all, if space is available. Transit riders may consider other public transportation options including the Kootenay Rideshare program or phone 250-354-1909.
