The construction of the City of Trail’s pipeline/pedestrian bridge is well underway.  Earlier this year Graham Infrastructure LP was awarded the $12.23 million contract to build the bridge.  Other companies working the project include Buckland and Taylor and TRUE consulting.

The City of Trail is now soliciting names for the new pipeline/pedestrian structure spanning the Columbia River.

Here are some details in the “Name that Bridge” contest:

We need your help! We are asking for name suggestions for the new pipeline/pedestrian Bridge. The bridge will be a signature structure for our region and a huge attractant for our community. Its name should reflect the importance and prominence it will have in our region for years to come. In order to qualify for consideration, we encourage you to fill out all the fields below. The call for names will close at the end of the day Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Trail Council will then decide how they will choose a winner and how the winner will be awarded.
