From newspaper to home sales – that’s the story of Nelson-based and well-known business couple, Karen and Chuck Bennett. Chuck Bennett was the regional manager of Black Press newspapers for the Kootenay region for a number of years and his wife Karen was the Publisher and advertising manager at the Nelson Star.
The Bennett's also started the RailTown Coffee House in the Nelson Chamber of Commerce's renovated CPR station building.
Earlier this year, both Karen and Chuck began selling real estate for Coldwell Banker in Nelson.
The Bennett’s website touts their connection to the Nelson community:
