David Cumming has moved on from his role as "acting GM" at Fort Steele Heritage Town and is pleased to introduce the Friends' newly hired general manager, Sally Struthers.

Cumming said in a recent message to Friends of Fort Steele, "As a new leaf turns for me and Fort Steele, please welcome Sally and give her the support that you gave me during my time in the GM role.  It has been an interesting year with many changes taking place throughout t the entire site.  A large thank you has to go to all the staff that have assisted and worked so diligently during this transition time.  We can all look forward to an exciting time at Fort Steele this summer."

Cumming also reported that the huge water infrastructure project at Fort Steele, which saw the replacement of the major water and sewer lines throughout the heritage townsite, is wrapping up. The next phase will be to extend the new pipe up to the reservoirs.

In addition to new GM Sally Struthers, other new faces at Fort Steele include assistant curator, Nikki Bose; carpenter, Jeremy Marusyk; grant writer/special events, Brenna Baker; Wildhorse Theatre front of house manager and office administration, Michelle Lemay; and Wildhorse Theatre technical director, Fran Burgon.
