The new College of the Rockies’ Continuing Education spring/summer program guide has been mailed out.

With it, great opportunities are being offered to further your education by joining some fun and educational classes. From online business courses to Thai food cooking classes, anger management, self-hypnosis and self-publishing your book—the courses are designed to fit people from all walks of life.

And, some of the classes are entirely free of charge. The instructors generously donate their time to introduce the classes they are about to teach and are available to answer any questions you may have.

One of the free classes will take place on Monday, April 18 at the Cranbrook Campus from 7 to 9 p.m. Instructor JoAnn Smith will provide a financial road map and introduce what Money Class is all about. From investment planning to saving for your child’s education or protecting your estate, participants cover how to manage your money in order to create financial freedom and reduce stress.

On Tuesday, May 15, also at the Cranbrook Campus, professional ICF-ACTP coach trainer Kim Leischner will offer an opportunity to explore coaching. Starting at 6:30 p.m., she will introduce participants to what coaching is, how it’s different from counseling or training and how it can improve your effectiveness in all areas of life including business, parenting, teaching or relationships.

Even though these classes are free of charge, pre-registration is mandatory. Please call 250-489-8242 or visit Continuing Education’s website for more information or to register.
