The business development liaison for the District of Sparwood in the Elk Valley is Former Cranbrook mayor, Scott Manjak.

Former Cranbrook mayor Scott Manjak is now the business development liaison for the District of Sparwood in the Elk Valley.

Scott Manjak was a longtime city councilor in Cranbrook and also served 3.5 years as the mayor of Cranbrook. He moved to Sparwood when his wife Raeleen, became the director of corporate services for the District of Sparwood.

He was also the former chair of RDEK board for a number of years.

In his role as business development liaison for the District of Sparwood he will be looking at ways to foster and encourage economic growth and development in the busy Elk Valley industrial corridor.
