Fernie’s Nohels Group bought by Interoute

Interoute Construction, a division of Terus Construction, has recently announced that they have purchased the assets of Nohels Group Rock and Redi-Mix based in Fernie. They also announced a name change from Nohels to Fernie Ready Mix (FRM).

Terus Construction is a division of the COLAS group of multi-national companies, headquartered in France, with more than 66,000 worldwide employees.

Interoute has purchased ready mix operations in Nelson, Trail, Castlegar, Cranbrook, Invermere and Revelstoke in recent years. The company operates a fleet of 40 concrete mixers, and supplies concrete, asphalt and aggregates to construction projects throughout the Kootenay region.
