Engineers help kids Break Stuff!!

East Kootenay students are invited to build a bridge and break to win prizes. The annual popsicle stick bridge contest is sponsored by APEGBC and is running in conjunction with the East Kootenay Regional Science Fair. Students can build their bridges and bring them to the College on Saturday April 12th where local engineers will test their ‘metal’ using a computerized load cell and hydraulic cylinder. There are two age groups – 12 and under, and 13 and over – and great prizes in both.
