Corien Speaker, CGA, is the new chief administrative officer (CAO) for the District of Squamish.

We join in wishing Elkford’s Corien Speaker the very best of luck on her new position as she prepares to become the new chief administrative officer (CAO) for the District of Squamish.

Corien Speaker has been the CAO of the District of Elkford since 2004 and has been involved in many community events and economic development initiatives over the years.  Elkford has seen much growth and progress under Corien's watch, including the brand new Elkford Community Centre.

Corien is a certified general accountant (CGA) and was very active in promoting the association at local schools and career fairs.

Corien recently announced that she will be leaving Elkford to take up her new job in Squamish. Again we salute Corien for her tremendous contributions to the District of Elkford and the entire Kootenay region.
