Located on a highly visible corner as you enter into Creston from the east, Wloka Farms is busy constructing a new fruit stand building with easy highway access.

Wloka Farms is owned and operated by Frank and Barbara Wloka. Frank Wloka retired six years ago from the Columbia Brewery and now operates their orchard business full time, along with his wife.

The farm consists of a mixed orchard of peaches, plums, apples, pears and apricots and newly added patch of raspberries. With a decision to market their produce more effectively and aggressively the Wloka's decided to construct a new fruit stand, which has been under way since the fall of 2013.

The largest crop year Wloka Farms has enjoyed was when they harvested almost 500,000 pounds of cherries. The new fruit stand should be ready for full operation later in the spring or early summer of 2014.

Watch for the opening of Wloka Farms fruit stand in upcoming months.
