Kevin and Sandy Smith recently changed the name of their business from Beadazzled to Gold-N-Treasures located in downtown Creston.

"With our emphasis on rock and gem collecting, as well as prospecting supplies, we thought our new name more appropriately reflected what people will find in the store." said Kevin Smith. "We have operated the store for over six years and the name Beadazzled was a holdover from the previous owners, when the store was basically just selling beads. Gold-N-Treasures better sums up everything we sell today."

In addition to being a certified MineLab metal detector dealer, Gold-N-Treasures carries pretty much anything to do with rocks, gems and gold. Customers will find one of the best selections of lapidary equipment around. Rock tumblers, rock saws and polishers, mining and gold prospecting equipment, books and jewelry are just some of the items they carry.

"We also buy rock and gem collections," added Kevin.

Located on Creston's main Canyon Street, Gold-N-Treasures is opened Monday to Saturday 9 to 5.
