Miriam Johnson is Tamarack Centre's new marketing director. After moving to Cranbrook one year ago in the footsteps of her husband Todd Johnson, the Kootenay Ice's assisant coach, Miriam is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead at Tamarack Centre.

With an education in marketing and communication from Wichita State University, Miriam has a diverse background in marketing and business development with her last position focusing on the business development aspect at Artistech Newmedia Inc.—a digital agency specializing in custom web design and online marketing strategies in Kelowna, B.C.

Before her role at Artistech Newmedia, Miriam's title was account manager, client service and sales with Maclean Group Marketing—a full-service marketing agency, also in Kelowna. In her spare time Miriam is an active mother of two children—Eli, three and a half years old; and Eden, one year old—who both attend every Kootenay Ice home game.
