Cranbrook Subway moving to new, larger location
The Cranbrook Subway restaurant franchise, owned and operated by Dan Patel, is moving down the street to a new and larger location. With construction work just underway at the new location, the new Subway is slated to open in mid-September.
The expanded restaurant will be double in size compared to the existing Cranbrook Street location -- going from 1300 square feet to 2650 square feet. The number of seats will also double from 23 to 45.
The new location is still on Cranbrook's busy main thoroughfare located at 1000 Cranbrook Street however will offer a number benefits for Subway diners.
"Our new location will be modern and more spacious, and with lots more seating," said Dan Patel, Subway franchise owner. "Plus we will have more parking and it will be easier for people to access the restaurant at our new location. We are really excited about expanding to a new, bigger location. We will be able to serve our customers faster and more efficiently."
Subway's satellite location on 10th Avenue in Cranbrook will continue to operate, servicing the busy downtown lunch crowd. Subway is the world's largest quick-service restaurant chain with over 42,295 locations.
