When it comes to innovation in the real estate business, realtor Jim Barber of Royal Lepage East Kootenay Realty based in Cranbrook, is not one to sit on the sidelines.

Jim was the first realtor in Cranbrook and one of the first in the Kootenays to introduce the concept of free mobile marketing services to his clients.

Potential clients can simply text the unique number displayed on the real estate sign posted in front of a property and they will immediately receive a link to information about that particular listing including photo, description, price and contact information – delivered all on their mobile phone.

“I am pleased to offer this enhanced mobile text service for my real estate buyers and sellers,” said realtor Jim Barber. “It makes it easy for these clients to get the information they need quickly and efficiency. Plus it is an unique service I provide for my real estate clients in the Cranbrook and East Kootenay market.”

Jim has over 30 years of marketing, sales and management experience with national and multi-national companies. He is in his 12th successful year as a realtor and offers both commercial and residential real estate services, as well as free mobile marketing services.

Jim recently served 6 years with the Kootenay Real Estate Board, two of them as president. Along with a deep love for his family he enjoys golf, tennis, hiking, photography and the beautiful East Kootenay outdoors.
