Calling all readers and book lovers

Love to read? Want to meet and support local Kootenay authors? Then don’t miss the 2nd annual Kootenay Authors Book Fair and Sale.

In conjunction with the Cranbrook Public Library, over a dozen Kootenay authors will be present at the biggest book event ever held in the Kootenays. It takes place Saturday, December 4, in the Manual Training School building at the Cranbrook Public Library from 12:30 to 5 p.m.

This year the organizers have invited two special guest authors, including Sid Marty, Governor General Award finalist and renowned outdoor writer. He is the recent author of the award-winning book Black Grizzly of Whiskey Creek and CBC Radio’s Canada Reads short listed Fernie author Angie Abdou, author of The Bone Cage.
