The Business Sherpa serves innovation, technology-centric and manufacturing entrepreneurs who are in concept development, startup or growth stages of their ventures in the Columbia Basin. See the video link to get a full preview of the program.

The Business Sherpa provides a robust, web-based pool of resources for entrepreneurs. While there are many websites designed to help entrepreneurs, locating, navigating and selecting what is useful from what is not, is a monumental task. The Business Sherpa aims to do much of that heavy lifting for users, and provides additional value with support from real people at KAST and KRIC. Our advisors, coaches and mentors use the Business Sherpa service as a tool to support and guide entrepreneurs on their journey to business growth and success.

The Business Sherpa is a key component of the Manufacturing & Technology Sector (MATS) project, a two-year Columbia Basin Trust initiative designed to strengthen the manufacturing and technology sector in the Columbia Basin & Boundary. It is delivered by the Kootenay Association for Science and Technology (KAST) and the Kootenay Rockies Innovation Council (KRIC).

Contact KRIC or KAST for more information.
