Business Excellence Awards handed out by Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce

On Saturday, April 1, 2017 the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce recognized excellence in the business community. The gala event was held at the St. Eugene Golf Resort and saw near capacity turn out.

There were 12 different nomination categories, with four to nine nominees in each category.

"From vibrant non-profits to young entrepreneurs and successful businesses, we have a lot to celebrate and recognize," stated the Chamber of Commerce. "Award recipients were chosen through a juried panel interview system.  It was an arduous process that ensured a high level of professionism and integrity."

Business of the Year (1-15 employees):  The Choice

Customer Service Excellence: Nutter's Bulk and Natural Foods

New Business of the Year: SoulFood Restaurant

Manufacturing & Production Excellence: Pets Go Raw

Business 2 Business Excellence: Kootenay Kwik Print

Retailer Excellence: Sherwin Williams Paint Store

Professional Services Excellence: Kootenay Therapy Centre

Non Profit Organization of the Year: Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary Society

Hospitality & Tourism Excellence: St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino
