Brian Sims now heads Community Futures in Kamloops

A well known name in the Cranbrook area has moved on to Kamloops. Brian Sims, former publisher and sales manager at the Cranbrook Daily Townsman and past president of the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce is now the new executive director at Community Futures Thompson Country, in Kamloops.

Community Futures Thompson Country (CFTC) was established in 1987 and has been successfully delivering entrepreneurial programs for more than 20 years. CFTC is committed to investing considerable resources and energy into business services and community economic development projects throughout the Thompson Country that help communities to strengthen, grow and diversify as it has over the past two decades.

CFTC will continue to enhance business productivity and competitiveness, by providing small businesses with access to information, training, business advisory services and capital while improving the entrepreneurial environment of communities to support economic growth.
