There's a major new storage facility coming to Cranbrook, which looks to leave a big footprint on the local storage unit market. The new company is called Black Metal Storage and is located at 1950 Theatre Road in Cranbrook.

The company has purchased and is developing a large parcel of land that sits across from Home Depot and behind Wal-Mart.

Their website states, “Whether it's for a long or short period of time, we are here to make your storage experience as easy as possible by offering a full range of products and services to meet your storage needs at an affordable price. Simply reserve a unit online or come by and see us today.”

According to a posted sign, Black Metal Storage is slated to open September 1, 2018. The sign also states, “safe, secure, all units heated and all units drive-up and RV parking available.” Indoor units start at $100 per month.
