Visionary owner and Olympic climber Gordon McArthur’s Arq project has been a dream of his for years, and he says, “Now...we're going for it.  It's a project that involves passion, excitement, and perseverance. A facility that will offer an alternative form of exercise, giving a great sense of community and social involvement.”

Featuring state of the art climbing walls, a fitness area, kid specific walls and playground, wellness, food and beverage; the goal at Arq is to provide the best customer service possible, to grow the climbing community, and to simply have fun.

"We're excited about this amazing project...but we're just short of our financial goals.  A project like this isn't easy, financially speaking.  So, we need your help, we need to raise $50,000 more to finish our beautiful facility. We've gone as far as we can, and now we're staring at the finish line...just shy of crossing it," said Gord McArthur, Olympic climber and owner.

He adds, "The two specific areas we need help with financially are: the kid’s area and our programming area.  In Arq, we're going to have a dedicated kid’s zone, giving kids the space they need, the terrain they need—to move, to grow, and to learn. This area is going to be awesome!  Our programming area is where growth happens.  We use these walls for learning "the ropes", for instructional purposes, and of course, for everyday use.  These walls are key to the success of Arq.  We're so close to finishing this project.  And with your help, we can cross the finish line.  With your financial support, Arq can come into its fullest potential."
