Winter in the Forest Festival

When: February 18, 2019

Where: Kaslo, B.C.

The Kaslo Community Forest Society, along with the Kaslo Outdoor Recreation Society, the Kaslo Early Childhood Coalition and the Kaslo Housing Society host this fun family festival outside at the Kaslo Airport, every BC Family Day in February, 10am-3pm.

The event includes 4 on 4 street hockey, cross-country skiing (skis provided), snow painting, local musicians and entertainment, woodsmen competition, human dogsled and ski races. Food and beverages provided, donations welcome! Bannock on a stick, homemade soups, stew, baked beans, chili, hot chocolate. And, the most Canadian dessert of all time: maple taffy on the snow ($2)
