Trail is a fantastic choice to visit while touring the West Kootenay. Go to Gyro Park and enjoy river access, swimming, an off-leash dog walking area near the boat launch and other outdoor amenities. There is a concession during the summer, a river walkway and a playground and spray park for the kids.

For athletes and spectators alike, the BC Seniors Games are anticipated with enthusiasm. One of the largest events of its kind in Canada, the Games will include approximately 3,500 competitors aged 55 years and over from across B.C. This year’s event will be held in Castlegar, Nelson, and Trail from August 16 to 20.
