Fernie’s newest neighbourhood is now selling. A property development called The Cedars has 28 lots on the market, with sales handled by Fernie Real Estate. For more information or to take a guided tour with no obligation, go to thecedars.ca

The community is intertwined with the surrounding environment: lush cedar forests, the sound of Lizard Creek, incredible views of the surrounding mountains and access to world class trails.

The design of the homes will also be inspired by the natural environment. Homeowners can choose their own contractors, provided they comply with architectural guidelines.

The neighbourhood gives direct access to outdoor adventure at Mount Fernie Provincial Park, Fernie’s world-class mountain biking trail system and the newly developed Elk Valley Nordic Centre. Hiking, snowshoeing and trail running is possible for all levels and ages, as the trail system is designed with everyone in mind. Fernie Alpine Resort and Island Lake Lodge are easily and quickly accessible, as are the Elk River, the Fernie Golf and Country Club and historic downtown Fernie.
