The Kootenay Lake Medical Clinic in Nelson was recently remodelled and updated. The clinic, located in the Chahko Mika Mall, has made the switch to Wolf EMR, cloud-based software for managing patient data.

Owners Peggy Aitken and Paul Lamoureux made some renovations to the interior and exterior of the clinic as well, a reflection of their dedication to the community and residents of Nelson. The clinic is open seven days a week and functions as a family practice. The indoor mall location also offers free unlimited parking, wheelchair access and two pharmacies.

The renovations and upgrades took place at the beginning of February 2014.
