Are you just starting out in your career, or looking for a change? The career fair at College of the Rockies Career on March 12, 2014 is an excellent opportunity to interact with companies.

Taking full advantage of the career fair involves more than just showing up. How can you get the most out of the career fair?

Go prepared

  • Analyze your aptitudes, education, experience and what you would like to do.
  • Have your resume ready before you go. Make sure it is professional, up-to-date and has no spelling or grammatical errors. Have someone else critique your resume before you go.
  • Do your homework. Research the companies you are interested in working for. Go to their Websites, find out what they do and what they are looking for. Inform yourself.
  • Prepare a list of questions to ask the companies you are interested in working for.
  • Smile and relax.
