“It’s official – the development of Nelson Landing is now happening,” said Allard Ockeloen, president and CEO of Storm Mountain Developments. “The new website went live this week and this community is ideal for those looking for waterfront living close to downtown.”

The first phase of homes will feature eight townhomes priced in the $400,000 range and sized from 1,324 to 1,389 square feet. Additional townhomes may be available if there is demand. Each townhome features a south facing private deck, stone and metal cladding, bold wood soffits and a standing seam metal roof supported by steel braces. An independent garage affords space for both parking and storage. On the inside, an airy, open living concept prevails. Workspace abounds, with plenty of counter space, a kitchen island and other flexible workspace.

Nelson Landing is a master-planned, phased, mixed-use residential and recreational community located on the shores of Kootenay Lake, within the city limits of Nelson, B.C. With over 6,500 feet of low bank lakefront, the Nelson Landing community will consist of residences and multi-use commercial buildings. More than 30 per cent of the land will be dedicated as park, including Red Sands Beach. A new trail system is being developed to connect Nelson Landing with the city and Red Sands Beach.

Commencement of construction is subject to pre-selling six town homes and is expected to start in June 2014, with completion in six to eight months.
