Some people have the great fortune of being able to build a career out of a passion. Cranbrook residents Chantal and Allan Marra are just such people.

The Marras have lived in the key city for about 15 years, with seven of those years spent immersed in the construction industry. After building four of their own homes in Cranbrook, they founded their own company, Marra Construction, reflecting their desire to create homes for others as well.

Backed by the weight of their own home building experiences, the Marras understand the things important to clients, such as projects that are completed on time and on budget.

Marra Construction has built two homes on speculation in Cranbrook; the first was completed in September of 2010 and the second will be finished in May of 2011.

The company is very much a team effort.

“We do most of the finishing work ourselves as we enjoy working together and love what we do,” said Chantal.
