The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary has engaged Wave Point Consulting Ltd. to undertake a study to measure the full economic impact of the Trail Regional Airport. The study will be a key tool in determining the importance and role of this transportation service in the region. It will capture the full scope of the Trail Regional Airport's impacts—including, but not limited to, logistics and the supply chain that is dependent on this transportation means.

The success of this project will depend on the input and participation of many stakeholders, including the travelling public and employers.

Darryl Anderson, project manager for Wave Point Consulting, stated that "public participation in the information gathering stage of the study, through the completion of a short online survey, will help ensure that the full benefits of the Trail Regional Airport are captured and recognized."

Members of the public and employers are encouraged to participate in this important project by visiting the Wave Point Consulting website and completing the web-based survey.
