Livewire is a staged program in which entrepreneurs compete for training dollars while working on an action plan to improve their business.

After an initial business health check with a coach, you will develop an action plan tailored to your business, and then:

  • Work with your coach to meet the goals laid out in your action plan;
  • Present your business case to, and get feedback from, a panel of experts (or Dragons, if you will);
  • Win one of five sponsorships for skills training (up to $300 each); and
  • Present your improved business case to the KRIC Dragons for a chance at the incredible Entrepreneur to CEO workshop in Banff in February, 2013.

Participants must be based in the East Kootenay and working in product development, manufacturing, or innovative technology. They may be at any stage in the business lifecyle: from the idea stage to maturity.
