Great news out of Christina Lake! Christina Lake Golf Club head professional Kevin Maffioli has been named the PGA of BC Golf Professional of the Year.

Kevin oversees the entire operation of the club, he is instrumental in organizing the largest Men's Open Tournament in the province, with 240 players, and throughout the golf season, gives excellent directive to his staff of 45.

Kevin Maffioli takes great pride in mentoring top quality junior golfers, including three juniors who he coached and are now playing college golf.

The Christina Lake club also runs a Junior Zone event annually, in addition to a Junior Club Championship and and Adult/Junior tournament.

Another innovation of Kevin Maffioli has been commitment in creating and fostering annual Adult Beginner golf program with 80-plus participants.

On the business side, Maffioli has helped take a break-even food and beverage operation and turn it into a substantial net profit operation.

Congratulations to Kevin Maffioli as his name moves on to the national competition for the Canadian Professional of the Year.
