by

Total Pet is coming to Cranbrook.

The B.C.-based pet store chain, Total Pet, is coming to Cranbrook and is opening in the former Sutherland Decorating location behind the old Super Value building in downtown Cranbrook.

Typically the Total Pet stores range in size from 6,000-9,000 square feet. They carry supplies, foods, reptiles, birds, salt and fresh water fish, dogs, cats, small animals and all that these animals require.

Total Pet also states that the average tenure of their managers is 18 years and they employ staff that are pet hobbyists themselves, so their staff has the knowledge to help with tough pet questions.

This will be Total Pet's second Kootenay location with another outlet in Castlegar, which has been open for several years.

Other B.C. Total Pet locations are in Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, Kamloops, 100 Mile, Williams Lake, Quesnel, Prince George, Dawson Creek and Castlegar
