Good news on the Classic Car Show front. Radium Hot Springs is pleased to let everyone know that the annual show and shine will continue to be hosted in the community.

The Columbia Valley Classics Car Club had announced earlier this summer that they were planning to move a portion of the popular event to Copper Point Golf Course in Invermere.

However, the club posted the following statement on their Facebook page, “A resolution has been met between the Radium Golf Group and the Columbia Valley Classics Car Club.  The annual show and shine will continue to be at The Springs Golf Course in Radium as per previous years.”

Kent Kebe , Radium Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center manager also stated, “It boils down to that the Car Club and Radium Golf Group representatives had a very positive discussion and the resolution that came out of the discussion was a very positive one, not only for the Annual Car show but for the Village and entire valley as a whole. It is very refreshing to see that positive communication between parties can create a positive resolution.”

The annual Classic Car Show & Shine will be held on Friday, September 15th and Saturday, September 16th, 2017. The weekend is jam-packed with events such as Music and Market on Main, the famous Show and Shine at the Springs Driving Range, and of course the parade of classic vehicles. The festivities will kick off Friday night so make sure you don't miss this annual fantastic celebration of vintage cars.
