Bulk Barn bills itself as Canada’s largest bulk food retailer with over 200 stores across the country. Based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Bulk Barn has started a push out west with four new stores in B.C.

The newest store just opened in the Tamarack Centre in Cranbrook. The store layout is typically 5,000 square feet and carries over 4,000 products, which includes everything from soup to nuts, candy, snacks, baking and candy-making ingredients and supplies, cereals, grains, spices and much, much more.

The new Cranbrook Bulk Barn outlet employs ten people and is run by manager Trish Miller, who said, “We are very pleased with our recent opening in Cranbrook. People have been flocking to our store. They really like our great selection, competitive prices and specialty items like cake pans and candy-making supplies.”

Bulk Barn first opened in Canada in 1982.
