Welcome to our 8th annual Influential Women in Business Awards.

These outstanding women are dynamic, talented and passionate entrepreneurs. In the business community they often serve as generous and inspiring mentors to other women and men. These businesswomen often give back to their communities by serving on boards, running events and—as one nominee said—having “a big presence in the community.”

Another trait these women share is their creative spirit. Here's some of things our nominators say about these women:

“An original, thoughtful risk-taker”
“A bold innovator”
“Amazingly smart, always thinking outside the box”
“Big ideas are her specialty”

To summarize these influential women, they bring “the whole package” to everything they do, with smiles on their faces, while they balance work and family.

To salute the nominees, Kootenay Business magazine is holding luncheons in the West and East Kootenay. Three women from each area will receive special recognition at these events, as our Outstanding Influential Women in Business of the Year for 2019.

For more information or to book a spot for the luncheon, please call 1-800-663-8555 or email [email protected].
