Want to help raise funds for charities that serve the hungry, homeless and hurting in your community? The Coldest Night of the Year is an annual family-friendly walk-a-thon that helps our most vulnerable citizens. Raise funds, and walk 2km, 5km or 10km along a designated route. Rest stops, light snacks and a warm meal are provided. Register as an individual, or gather together a team of your co-workers, friends, family or hobby group. Come out and support a worthy cause!

Held on February 22, the Coldest Night of the Year is a national fundraising initiative with walks planned across the country. Events in the Kootenay area are planned for Cranbrook, Nelson and Castlegar. It's not too late to get your community involved!
