New Zealand-born, Australia-raised Brad Parsell became the new executive director of the Fernie Chamber of Commerce on April 8. A Fernie resident since 2013, Parsell was happy as the general manager for Fernie Lodging Company when he heard about the position with the chamber. He had enjoyed being part of the chamber’s ambassador program, supporting the whole community and all business sectors, so he decided to make a change. Currently Parsell is excited about supporting the creation of Fernie’s first co-working space. Through these early days, Parsell  is well supported by former ED Patty Vadnais and the chamber’s board and staff.
